Steam Oud (Upcycling)

Steam Agarwood Oil belongs to the Aquilaria Crassna species extracted through steam distillation from plantation grown trees as part of an upcycling process. The raw material from Parachin are re-used for the production of this Oil.
Because of its accessibility and price range, it is commonly used in Mukhallat (A home made mixture of different essential oils) compositions across the Middle East. 
The scent is deeply leathery and smoky, built around burnt wood facets with notes of IBQ, birch tar, incense, and styrax, evoking the feeling of dark, smoked landscapes.
